Lucien ′s Story

We weren’t exactly planned. Our mom and dad were just two dogs living their lives when, suddenly, there we were — tiny heartbeats growing day by day. Our arrival wasn’t something anyone expected… but we showed up anyway, full of life, full of wiggles, and full of dreams we didn’t even know we had yet.

The human who cared for our parents — he was kind, and he saw something in us. He knew he couldn’t give us everything we’d need to thrive, but he didn’t want us to be just “another mistake” or lost in the shuffle. He wanted us to have a real shot at happiness.

So he reached out to 2nd Chance Dogs.

Character & Temperament

We’re not the kind of pups who sit still for long. Nope, we’re always on the move, exploring, and finding new ways to have fun. Life’s an adventure, and we’re here for it — full of wiggles, tail wags, and all the zoomies.

We’re happy-go-lucky, always up for a game, a chase, or a new discovery. There’s always something to explore, whether it’s a new smell on the breeze or a new toy to play with. If it’s fun, we’re in — no questions asked.

Mischief is in our bones. We love to sneak around and get into things we probably shouldn’t. But it’s all in good fun! We might knock over a flowerpot or steal a sock, but it’s never with bad intentions — just pure curiosity and the joy of play.

Every corner holds a new mystery, and we’re not afraid to dig, sniff, or run to find out what’s around the next turn. The world is meant to be explored, and we can’t wait to see what’s next!

Ideal Home for Lucien

We’ve got big dreams for our forever home. We want a place that’s as fun and adventurous as we are — a place where we can explore, play, and feel loved all day long. We don’t need anything too fancy, just the essentials: a yard to run around in, soft places to nap, and plenty of toys to keep us busy.

Our home should have room to play, a lot of space for zoomies and chasing each other around. We’d love a human or two who will join in the fun, throw a ball, or just hang out with us during our never-ending adventures. Maybe some older, wise dogs who can show us the ropes would be cool, but as long as we’re together with someone who loves us, we’ll be happy.

We’d love to have someone who gets our energy — who understands that when we’re not playing, we’re probably exploring, sniffing, or trying to figure out how to get into mischief. And in the evening, when we’re tired from all the fun, a cozy spot on the couch for snuggles sounds perfect.

Our ideal home is one full of laughter, patience, and adventure — because, let’s face it, we’ve got a lot of love to give and so many paws to leave prints all over it.
